My cat spent a solid day trying to open the bathroom cabinet after I moved his treats

I put his favorite salmon bites in there on Tuesday, and he just sat there, pawing at the door for like six hours straight. Has anyone else's cat fixated on a new hiding spot like this?

Didn't a study show cats remember where food is for weeks? Once they know it's in there, they won't give up. You've basically created his life's work now.

Yeah that "life's work" line is spot on. My cat still checks the cabinet where treats were kept a year ago. They really do not forget.
