Unpopular opinion: weekly spreads are actually a waste of time for most people
I spent like 8 months doing these elaborate weekly spreads in my bujo because that's what I saw everyone posting online. Last Tuesday I realized I never actually used half the boxes I drew because my tasks just carry over day to day anyway. The thing that tipped me off was when I flipped back through 3 months of spreads and saw the same "call dentist" item written in 12 different weekly boxes. Has anyone else hit that moment where they realized they were copying a system that doesn't fit their actual life?

Have you tried just ditching the whole week view and going month only? I spent a whole year making these artsy weekly logs with color coded trackers and habit stars, then I left my bujo at home one day and used a random sticky note instead. That sticky note worked better because I just wrote down what I absolutely had to do that day and nothing else. Now I have a stack of half filled notebooks with gorgeous weekly layouts that I never referenced again. It was like I was designing a museum exhibit about my week instead of actually living it.

Oh come on, that sticky note worked because you had already trained your brain for months with those fancy spreads! Without that structure first, you'd probably just lose the sticky note or write "stuff" on it and still forget the dentist.
