Had my clipper cord get chewed through by a customer's tiny dog yesterday, mid-fade.

It was a standard Tuesday in the shop. I'm about halfway through a skin fade on a regular, and his new Pomeranian, 'Biscuit', was just sitting there looking cute. I turn my back for two seconds to grab a guard, and I hear this crunching sound. The little guy had the cord in his mouth like a toy. Completely severed it, sparks and everything. The client was mortified, I was just stunned. Had to finish the cut with my old cordless pair that barely hold a charge. Anyone have a good brand for a heavy-duty replacement cord, or should I just go fully cordless at this point?

Went cordless after a poodle did the same thing, best choice ever.

Same thing happened with my vacuum cord and a puppy. Cutting the cord was the only real fix. Never looked back since.
