Had a client come back 6 weeks later and actually saw the difference in my clipper work

So I've been trying to get better at fading for like a year now. This guy came in today who I first cut maybe 6 weeks ago. Back then I was still doing those harsh lines you could see from across the room. Today I pulled up the before photo on my phone and showed him. The blend is way smoother now. What changed? I started using a half guard more intentionally instead of just jumping from 1 to 2. Also stopped rushing the no guard section. Anyone else notice a big jump in their work after a couple months of focusing on one thing?

Right? It's honestly such a good feeling when you can actually see the payoff from all that time spent on one thing lol. That no guard section was my nightmare too for the longest time.
