I finally gave a 90s anime a real shot and it surprised me

I watched the first 10 episodes of 'Serial Experiments Lain' after seeing it mentioned here a lot. I thought it would be too slow or weird for me, but the way it talks about the internet and identity really hit home. Has anyone else had an old show click with them in a way they didn't expect?

Yeah, that show gets better with age. It predicted a lot of our weird online lives.
