Just realized I was crowding my air fryer basket way too much
I was trying to make a batch of frozen fries for my kids in my Cosori air fryer last Tuesday and just dumped the whole bag in. They came out soggy and uneven! I read online that you need to leave space, so I tried again with just a single layer of about 20 fries. The difference was crazy, they were all perfectly crispy. Has anyone else found a good rule for how much to put in at once?

Yeah, the air fryer is not a magic bottomless pit. It needs room to breathe, just like the rest of us. I learned that the hard way with a pile of sad, wet chicken nuggets. You basically have to treat it like a picky toddler's plate, everything in its own little space. No touching.
