Shoutout to the library anime tape swaps

Try having a DEEP conversation about anime endings when everyone just watches clips online. Back in the tape swap days, you had to actually LISTEN to people ramble about filler episodes for hours. Now it's all hot takes and moving on before the next trend. I miss when a bad dub was a shared tragedy, not just a meme.

I nearly faked a timber grade for a quick payoff.

But is it really that serious? We might be making a big deal out of nothing. Most folks cut corners sometimes without it changing who they are.

My spa partner posts before/afters without asking...

Read an article on client privacy in spas just the other day. It said using photos without consent can lead to big legal problems. Free marketing is good, but not if it breaks trust with customers. Your partner should really ask first, it's basic respect. How do they react when you bring up the privacy concern?

My old radio's circuit board was corroded, but a vinegar soak fixed it right up.

Yeah the "worked for my Gameboy" line brings back memories, but that vinegar smell is pure battery acid nightmare. I used it on some old calculator contacts once and you really have to go in with qtips and alcohol after, like mila said. The tricky part is getting it out of all the little crevices around the button pads. If any vinegar stays behind it just makes a new, worse mess over time.

PSA: Started laying down cardboard under mulch to stop weeds

Yeah the wet season breakdown kim mentioned is so real. I did the cardboard thing in my backyard last spring and it worked amazing until we got those heavy August rains. Basically turned to mush in like six weeks flat. What finally worked for me was the cheap landscape fabric from the garden center, the woven kind not the felt. It let water through but nothing came up, and it's held up for two full years now. Just had to really weight it down with a thick layer of mulch so it wouldn't show.
