inFlat rate pay is basically a scam for apprentices, change my mind.
My buddy Jake had a flat rate apprenticeship that paid $400 a week. He was pulling fifty hour weeks because the shop was swamped. That meant he earned eight bucks an hour before taxes, which is a joke. The system is set up so the shop wins every time, getting full time work for part time pay. It's not an apprenticeship, it's just cheap labor with a fancy name. But sure, let's call it "training" while the kid can't afford rent.

inMy overfilled jar of sauerkraut burst open overnight
Sealing too well isn't really the issue if the jar's overfilled. The gas has to go somewhere, and without headspace, it'll force the lid off every time.

inMy change to immediate tool care after every appointment
But what if you're already running behind? I see the point, but stopping after every single horse sounds like a great way to kill your momentum. My tools are built to last, and a good end-of-day clean has always kept them in shape without all the extra stops. Sometimes you just have to push through and handle the upkeep when you're done, not let it break up your workflow. That five minutes per horse adds up fast, and I'd rather be home earlier.

inI never used apple cider vinegar for my chickens, but a demo at the local fair convinced me to try it.
Read that it helps with their digestion.

inSkipping anvil warm-ups for light work improved my output
Funny, my grandad always said warming the anvil was just for show. @simonm67 saving propane on hooks proves him right, I guess.
