Unpopular opinion: Skimping on adhesion promoter for plastic parts will cost you later.

I had a bumper repair come back after a month because the paint peeled right off, so now I never skip that step.

My uncle tried to skip primer on his deck paint last summer to save an afternoon. That whole "time saved now" thing almost always turns into more work later, like your bumper peeling. It's the same cheap shortcut logic, whether it's plastic car parts or treated wood.

lol, classic "skip the step, win the prize" move. It's right up there with not using a screen protector because your phone feels nicer, then crying over the cracked glass. Or skipping the pre-wash on a greasy pan because you're tired, only to find baked-on gunk forever. That tiny moment you "save" just buys you a front row seat to a bigger mess later.
