inMy buddy and I argued for an hour about the ending of 'The Dark Knight'
Wait, your buddy wanted Harvey's body found right away? That misses the whole point. @saraht77 is right about endings needing to feel true, and a quick discovery would have made Batman's sacrifice cheap. The coin in the kid's hand is what makes it hurt so good.

inPaid $150 for a 'premium' Edmonton chat app that just shut down
Premium just meant they got your money first. Local apps are a gamble, they don't have the user base to last. Saw a neighborhood food delivery thing do the same, charged twenty for early access and vanished. That cash is gone for good. Free groups are messy but at least they don't cost you a hundred fifty bucks.

inMaybe it's just me, but my project to photograph forgotten lighthouses got weird when I had to help rescue a cat from one. True story.
Oh man, @willowgarcia, that reminds me of the time my neighbor's "normal" cat somehow got locked in their own bathroom for six hours. The yowling was something else.

inLooking back at my first big fabric order from 2018
Oh man, that "bought 200 yards online without a sample" is a gut punch. I learned the hard way too, now I always pay for a swatch first, even if it slows me down. It saves so much money and stress.

inFound my old Wacom tablet from 2012 and the driver files are a mess compared to my new one
Yeah, that "maze" feeling you get with old software, dakota479, is so real. I wonder if part of it is that they just kept piling new features on top of old code for years without ever cleaning it up. The new stuff gets to start fresh, but the old drivers are like a house with too many add-ons, all the wiring is a mess. They probably also figured most people would just use the basic install and never touch the advanced tabs full of junk.
