Why do I still have a sore back then?

Totally get this, overhear stuff like that all the time. People just see the final bunch of flowers, not the hours spent finding good blooms, prepping stems, and actually putting it together so it looks nice. I try to explain that the price covers the farmer's work, the gas to get them here, and the skill to arrange them, but some folks just have a set number in their head. It's frustrating when they don't see the whole picture.

Remember my dad using a water level for his barn foundation. That old hose and two sticks never lied on uneven ground.

Imagine putting this much effort into bread. It's just flour and water, not a science project.
