Tried using my truck stop's microwave to proof bread dough overnight and came back to a puffy monster.

The high humidity setting basically steamed it, so I learned that a warm truck cab works better than a sealed microwave for a slow rise, has anyone else had to improvise proofing in a weird spot?

Imagine putting this much effort into bread. It's just flour and water, not a science project.

Seriously, do you even bake bread?

My old apartment had a radiator that was perfect for this. I'd put the bowl on a towel on top of it and the gentle heat worked every time.
