inMy new shed door fell right off its hinges in a Kansas windstorm
Did Lisa mention using longer screws? That's a solid start, but for a door that just blew off, I'd go straight to lag bolts into the frame studs. Have you thought about adding a simple sliding barrel bolt at the top and bottom of the door too? It won't help the hinges, but it'll stop the whole panel from swinging out and flying away next time.

inShowerthought: I ran a 4-wire alarm cable next to a power line for 20 feet and got constant false trips
Yeah @drew_carr67, and that's just for low voltage, right?

inGot the hang of using a camera scope for inspections finally
Yeah, I used to fight it too until I tried that reset trick.

inUsed to set posts with a sledge and eyeball. Now I use a laser level for every single one. The difference is night and day.
My buddy's fence line had a three inch dip over fifty feet from the old eyeball method. The laser showed it plain as day.

inShoutout to the old school guys who taught me to sharpen by hand, not with a machine
My shop in Dayton runs three Tormek machines and our edges last longer than any hand sharpened blade. Maybe @wendy_murphy16 just had a bad machine?
