What gets me is how much it messes with your sleep. You toss and turn trying to find a position that doesn't hurt, and then you wake up even more stiff. That lack of rest makes everything else harder the next day, like focusing at work or even just wanting to move around. It's a whole cycle that starts with one sore muscle.

Totally get where that guy's coming from. I did the same thing in Vietnam for a year, just pinching pennies and it got old fast. Moved to Tokyo even though my budget was tight, and man, the energy and stuff to do was worth every extra dollar. Sometimes cheap just means you're counting coins instead of actually enjoying your life. You can't put a price on feeling connected to a place.

Come on, it can't be THAT bad.
