Paid $40 for a 'custom' sign that had three typos on it
Ordered a sign for my trucking side gig off some guy on Facebook Marketplace in Amarillo. Paid $40 upfront, he sends me a photo saying it's ready, and when I show up the thing says 'Recievcing' instead of 'Receiving' and 'Dock' spelled as 'Dok'. Told him it was jacked up and he said 'you get what you pay for' and refunded nothing. Has anyone else dealt with a seller who just refuses to fix their own garbage work?

Buddy of mine got a "welding" job done and the guy's phone number was fake after he complained.

Did you actually see the work before the guy disappeared, @victor_carr54? Because I've seen plenty of people blame the welder when the problem was really regular rust or a bad spot on the metal. A fake number is sketchy for sure, no argument there. But sometimes folks expect a weld to fix something that was already falling apart. Not saying your buddy got scammed, just saying I've been on the other side of that complaint before. Cheap work and good work rarely look the same up front, but nobody wants to hear that when they're mad.
