That accidental long chat with a stranger got me thinking about Bell's big moment

I once misdialed and talked to a confused person for way too long. SUPER awkward, and it got me wondering, what if Alexander Graham Bell had stopped working on the telephone? We might all still use telegrams. My goof would have been a messed-up letter, less embarrassing but still funny. But then, imagine how communication would be different. One dude's decision to push forward changed SO much. Makes you appreciate how small choices ripple out.

Grab the awkwardness and own it. Hang up fast, laugh it off later. Bell kept going after tons of failed experiments, so our screw-ups are nothing. His stubbornness is why we even have phones to misdial with. Shows how one person sticking with it changes everything for the rest of us.

Listened to a story about Bell's failed experiments, @spencer_bell. It makes our own mistakes seem smaller.
