Vent: That week I had 3 clients ghost me in 5 days

Last Tuesday I had a client I'd been talking to for 2 weeks just stop replying after I sent the contract. Then Thursday a regular who pays every month on time said they had to cancel due to budget cuts. Friday a new lead from Upwork said they found someone cheaper at $8 an hour. I made $0 that week and it felt like the universe was testing me. Has anyone else had a whole week where everything just fell apart at once?

Oh man, I feel this so hard. Had a stretch last fall where four clients vanished in one week, two of them mid-project with no explanation. It's brutal when you're already stressing about bills and the universe just keeps kicking you.
