I was reading an old trade journal from 1988 and found out our foundry's main furnace used to run on 40% more coke than it does now.

Found it in a stack of papers in the back office. The numbers were right there in black and white. It's wild to think about how much the process has changed in just a few decades. Makes you wonder what we're doing now that will seem crazy in another thirty years. What's the biggest change in materials or fuel you've seen at your shop?
