Rant: Tried that $15 filament dryer box from Amazon, ruined my spool instead of saving it
Spent 15 bucks on a cheap filament dryer and it melted the bottom of my PETG spool, has anyone else had those budget dryers actually catch fire on their first run?

@riley_king16 melted fan blades?! That’s insane, I didn't think a hair dryer could even get hot enough to do that. Makes my melted spool look tame in comparison honestly.

Ruined my spool" - that stinks, I had a cheap hair dryer I tried to use to dry filament once and it literally melted the fan blades into a puddle of plastic mid-cycle.
