That one critique about my zipper placement really clicked

A local seamstress in Portland told me my zippers were always 1/4 inch off from the center seam, and I thought she was nitpicking. After I adjusted my next design on a denim jacket, the whole thing hung way better. Anyone else have a tiny fix that made a big difference?

@sanchez.beth is totally right, that zipper alignment thing is huge. I had a similar moment with my buttonhole placement after a tailor pointed out they were a half inch too high. Moved them down and suddenly my shirts stopped pulling weird at the chest.
