Can we talk about ignoring color rules in design?
I made a shirt with colors that people say don't match, and I really like it. This small win has me doubting the old rules.

My mustard couch with plum pillows proves those rules are meaningless.

Honestly, some of my favorite pieces use colors that supposedly clash. A neon orange with a muddy olive green just works sometimes. The old rules are more like suggestions once you get comfortable breaking them on purpose.
