Finally fixed a weird BGP flapping issue that took me a solid 8 hours to trace.
It turned out to be a single faulty transceiver in a core switch, not the route config I was pulling my hair over. Anyone else had a hardware gremlin waste a whole day?

Oh man, "always the hardware" is so true. I spent a whole afternoon once trying to figure out why a client's internet was so slow. I checked everything, ran all the tests. Turns out their kid had shoved a bunch of LEGO bricks into the Ethernet port on the wall. It looked fine from a quick glance!
