My cousin insisted the old Edmonton chat site was better for finding local bands, but I found three great shows on the new one last month.

He said the new platform was just for general talk, but I checked the music section and it was full of posts about small gigs. Has anyone else found good local event info there lately?

Yeah, my friend said the same thing about the new site's music board being dead, but it's actually pretty active.

My old guild on that MMO had a music channel that got like 300 messages a day. People would post obscure synthwave tracks and argue about drum machines for hours.

Lmao that's the real endgame content right there. Forget raid progression, the true test was having a strong opinion on 80s drum samples. My guild's channel was just people fighting over whether the Roland TR-808 was overrated.
