Fought with my garage door opener for 2 hours yesterday
My old Liftmaster finally gave out Tuesday after 12 years of service and just refused to open past halfway. I spent the whole evening taking it apart, cleaning the sensors, and checking the tracks before I realized a screw on the rail was loose the whole time. Anyone else have a simple fix that took way longer than it should have?
Used to blame my cheap roommate for the toaster never working turns out I was the problem the whole time. Swear I checked the cord three times before I noticed the end just sitting there on the counter not near any outlet. Felt like such a genius when I finally figured it out. My roommate still brings it up at dinner parties and I can't even defend myself, its just true.
