Wait, you put a splash of vinegar in chili? Like straight vinegar, not hot sauce or anything? I've never heard of that before, that sounds wild. Does it make it taste sour or does it just brighten up the other flavors? I'm genuinely curious how that works because I've always just dumped in a can of diced tomatoes with green chiles and called it a day.
