Hit 50 thrift store books this year and realized I have a problem
I started keeping count in January just for fun, but I hit 50 books picked up from garage sales and library sales this weekend. That's 50 books I probably paid under $3 each for, and most of them are from the 70s and 80s. The weird part is I've only read about 12 of them so far. Anyone else keep a running tally of how many dusty gems they haul home?

Honestly, is it really that deep though? Like, I get having a ton of cheap books, but it's not like you're hoarding rare first editions. My whole shelf is from thrift stores and I don't even remember half of what I bought. It's more like a pile of 'I'll read this someday' that just gathers dust. Not exactly a crime scene, just a lot of paperbacks.
