Switched from chain to wire rope for my swing anchors last month

Always used chain because that's what the old guys taught me, but after reading a report from a job in Long Beach about wear rates I gave wire rope a try. The vibration on my barge dropped noticeably within the first week. Anyone else made that swap and noticed a difference?

Yeah, it worked great for me last spring when I painted my old dresser with it.
