Can we talk about those bargain bucket ladder rung covers

Bought a set for $22 to stop slipping on the dredge ladder. They split open after two weeks in the sun and I nearly took a bad fall. What do you guys use that actually holds up?

My neighbor's set lasted all summer, and he's not exactly gentle with his gear. I'd check if they were stretched too tight during install.

Maybe you just got a bad set. Mine have been fine for months and it's been super hot. Could be how they were put on.
