Spent $400 on a drafting course that everyone raved about, total waste

I took that 'Advanced CAD for Professionals' online course from DraftPro last fall because all the forums said it was a must. It was just a rehash of basic commands I learned in my first year, with maybe two useful tips in eight hours of video. I could have bought a new set of quality leads or a proper lamp for my board with that cash. Has anyone else felt let down by a big name training program?

Wait, wait, wait... you paid three hundred for a glossary? That's actually insane. I thought my four hundred dollar course was bad but at least they actually tried to show us some clicks and commands, even if they were useless. A glorified dictionary for project management, that's a whole different level of scammy. They just sat there reading definitions for two whole modules? Did they even have a real project example to walk through or was it just words on a screen the whole time?

Total ripoff, these "certified" courses are often just reading from textbooks. Always check if they offer a free trial or sample module before you hand over any cash.

Tell me about it. I dropped almost three hundred on a certified project management course that was basically a glorified glossary. They spent two modules defining terms like "stakeholder" and "milestone" without showing how to actually handle a delayed shipment or a messed up budget. Felt like paying for someone to read the dictionary to me.

Three hundred dollars? For real? That's just crazy... I'd be so mad if I paid that much and they didn't even show how to fix a real problem. What a total waste of money. It sounds like they just wanted to hand out a certificate without teaching anything useful. You should ask for your money back, honestly.
