My plotter decided to quit halfway through a big set of E-size sheets
It happened on a Thursday morning right before a client deadline. The feed rollers just stopped grabbing the paper, leaving a half-printed foundation plan. I had to finish the set on the office's smaller printer, which took three times as long. Has anyone else had a plotter just give up mid-job, and what did you do to get back on track?

Honestly, is it that big of a deal? So you used the smaller printer and it took longer. At least you had a backup and made the deadline. My old office would have just called it a day and gone home early.

You're totally right, it's all about getting it done. Some places just create problems where there aren't any. Hitting the deadline is what actually matters, not how you got there. It's frustrating when people miss the big win for a small complaint.

Remember when printers had that reset button you could hit with a paperclip? Tbh I miss that simple fix for everything freezing up. Now you just get an error code that means nothing.
