I thought working from cafes was the best part of the lifestyle, but after trying a co-working space in Medellin for a week, I'm totally switching sides.

The reliable, fast wifi and having a quiet spot for video calls made me three times more productive than I ever was at a pretty cafe, even if it cost me about $50 for the week.

Yeah, the cafe thing gets old fast. I remember trying to take a Zoom call from a place in Lisbon and the barista started grinding coffee beans right as my client asked about Q3 projections. Had to pretend my audio cut out. That was the day I started looking up local coworking spots. The peace of mind is worth the few bucks a day for sure.
