Wasted $90 on a drawing tablet that felt like a toy

I bought this cheap no-name tablet off Amazon six weeks ago thinking I'd save some cash. The surface is way too slick so my pen slides around like it's on ice. After 20 minutes my hand cramps up and the lines never come out steady. Did anyone else fall for one of those $50 to $100 tablets that just collect dust now?

That 90 bucks is basically the "learned my lesson" tax we all pay once. I got a Huion off Amazon for 60 dollars last year and the pen pressure was so janky it would register a full line if I just looked at the screen wrong. The USB cable started fraying after two weeks too, so I had to hold it at a weird angle just to keep it connected. Ended up using it as a mouse pad for a month before I tossed it in a drawer with all my other bad decisions. At least you didn't spend 200 on a fancy stylus that loses battery every 45 minutes like my buddy did.

I read somewhere that Wacom basically has a patent on the good pen tech, so the cheap brands can't legally copy it. That's why you get that weird jittery line thing with the knockoffs.
