Rant: Wasted a morning on a parts system glitch

Tried to order a turbo rebuild kit through our shop's online portal, and it kept crashing at checkout. The site said the part was in stock, but then flagged it as backordered after I entered payment. Had to call three different suppliers to finally get one shipped. Why does something so basic have to be this broken?

Ever try just calling the supplier first?
