Just realized I was missing the best parts by sticking to daytime visits
I always explored dead malls during the day because I thought it was safer and easier for photos. But after a late evening trip last week, the way the sunset light hit the broken skylights totally shifted my view (and my photo album). Has anyone else explored at different times and spotted new details?

Honestly, the biggest shift for me is the sound, or the lack of it. During the day there's always some background hum, maybe a distant generator. Come evening, that silence gets so thick you hear every little echo from your own footsteps. It makes you notice weird stuff, like a single drippy pipe or a creaky HVAC unit you never spotted in daylight.

Not to be a downer, but is this really that big of a deal? Sunset light hits different, but it's just another hour. The mall stays the same empty place.

You said "just another hour." Does the changing light not show you new decay or features you missed before?
