I chose to explore the old Sunrise Mall in Corpus Christi instead of the one in my own town.
The sheer scale of its empty food court, with maybe two dozen chairs still stacked from its final day in 2019, made the choice feel right, but has anyone else been there since the roof started caving in near the old Sears?

Did you at least bring a hard hat when you went in there?

Why do you even need a hard hat? Most of those warnings are just for show. I've been in tons of old buildings with loose tiles. A little dust falls, you brush it off. They make everything seem so dangerous now. It's just common sense, not a construction site.
