My dad played me a 40 second clip from Rocky in 2003 and the one line about how you get hit has run my head for 20 plus years
We were in his truck outside a Kroger in Dayton and he hit pause right after Rocky says it ain't about how hard you hit, then asked me what I thought it meant at 14, and I gave some dumb answer about boxing. What line from a movie stuck with you not because it was deep but because of where you were when you heard it?

Man, that pause and question hit different when you're a kid in a truck. In my experience those moments stick because of the setting, not the words, so write down where you were and who you were with while it's still fresh. Your mileage may vary, but I'd say the memory does the heavy lifting and the line just tags along for the ride.
