I mean, that's great for you but it's not always that simple. I've had a bank tell me I was out of luck because I waited too long to notice the charge. Sometimes they make you jump through a ton of hoops with paperwork. Maybe it's just me but I feel like they side with the big companies more often than not.

Milesh89 has a really good point about the hoops. Banks can absolutely make it a huge pain, and sometimes they do side with the merchant. The key is being super fast and having all your proof ready. I've found that calling them right away and sending screenshots of the scam site helps a lot. It's still a fight, but being prepared makes a big difference.
