Just found out most free VPNs sell your data to third parties

Read a report from a security firm last month that said 80% of free VPN apps have tracking code built in. Has anyone else checked what their free VPN is actually doing in the background?

Paid for my VPN after finding that out. Free ones aren't worth the risk.
