The customer who taught me about fake allergies after 4 tries
Working the returns desk at a big box store in Omaha, this guy comes in saying his blender was defective and he's allergic to the plastic smell. I process the return, no problem. Next week he's back with a different blender, same story. By the third one, my manager is side-eyeing me. Fourth time, I finally check his receipt history. Dude has returned 11 blenders in 6 months. I straight up asked him if he was just testing the newest models for free. He laughed and admitted he wanted to review them on his blog. We banned him. Has anyone else caught a serial returner doing something weird like that?
