The customer who screamed at me for 10 minutes in July came back in December and apologized with a $5 gift card
I worked the front desk at a gym in Toledo and this guy reamed me out over a billing mix-up, full volume, other members staring. Six months later he walked up, said "you were the only one who stayed calm," and handed me a Starbucks card. Anyone else had a nightmare customer come back around like that?

My buddy Dave had a guy chew him out at a tire shop in Perrysburg over a $12 charge, and then the same guy showed up a year later with a box of donuts and said he'd been going through a divorce. Dave said the apology felt good but the donuts did most of the work. Funny how the ones who blow up are sometimes the ones who come back and own it.
