Pro tip: A straightforward prompt cured my blank page, but I'm debating if it's a shortcut.
Straight prompts help, but do they cheat creativity?

Shortcuts fuel creativity.

Totally agree, it's like removing the boring stuff so your brain can actually play. I mess around with photo filters all the time, and those quick edits let me try wild looks I'd never attempt from scratch. Gets you past the blank page fear instantly. Once the hard part is done, you're free to just experiment and make it actually good.

Exactly, that initial push changes everything. It's why I always grab a template or preset before diving into a project. Having that base structure already there completely tricks you past the part where you'd normally freeze up. You're not starting from zero anymore, you're starting from like, sixty percent done. Then your brain stops worrying about the basics and finally gets to the fun part of making it actually interesting or good. It turns a chore into a game.
