Straight talk: Hand signals or radios for crane ops on loud job sites?
My crew says hand signals are best, but I think radios cut down on mistakes, so what do you all use to stay safe?

Our foreman swears by radios, but we lost a whole morning last week when the battery died.

What about when visibility's bad though?

Bad visibility is the worst (seriously, it's so frustrating). It makes driving or just being outside way more stressful. Hang in there until it clears up.
