Just caught my neighbor's Ring camera recording my backyard
I was out fixing a fence board last Tuesday when I noticed this little blinking light on my neighbor's camera pointed right over the property line. Turns out those things can pick up audio from 30 feet away easy. I called the non-emergency line at the county sheriff's office in Oakdale and they said it's technically legal if it's not in a private area but it still feels like a violation. Has anyone else had to deal with a neighbor's camera creeping onto your space?
Waved a spatula at it last week while grilling and got a call from my neighbor asking if everything was okay. Guess they saw me flipping burgers and thought I was having some kind of breakdown. Told them the only thing breaking down was my patience with their spy cam pointed at my tomato plants.
Spy cam pointed at my tomato plants" - that's hilarious, sounds like they're running a stakeout on your garden like it's a drug cartel or something. Next time give 'em a wave with the spatula and a thumbs up, really sell the crazy neighbor bit.
