I used to believe every big news story was staged, and then I started watching local city council meetings
I used to spend hours on forums like this one, convinced that anything on the national news was fake and carefully planned by someone. Then a friend dragged me to a city council meeting in Fort Wayne about a zoning change for a gas station, and I saw maybe 12 people show up, half of them just mad about traffic. It was so boring and messy and real, with people getting each other's names wrong, that I started wondering if the big stuff is actually just the same chaos with better cameras. Now I still think some things get spun or buried, but I mostly look for who would even have the time to plan half of what people claim. Has anyone else gone down a rabbit hole and come out the other side just thinking most of it is disorganized people doing their jobs badly?
