Hot take: I used to post every UFO sighting video I found until a guy in the comments said 'You're just feeding the echo chamber, man'.
Now I spend at least 20 minutes trying to find a debunking article or a plausible explanation from a site like Metabunk before I share anything, which honestly makes the whole thing more interesting.

Notice this happening all the time now. People share a wild news story, then someone else jumps in with a link to Snopes showing it's fake. My friend sent a crazy video of a "ghost" last week, but we found out it was just a weird camera glare. The hunt for the real answer is way more fun than just believing the first thing you see.
