That job in Austin last month broke my trowel technique for good

We were finishing a 12,000 square foot warehouse slab near the airport and the mix was way too stiff. By hour four my arm was shot and I got a nasty divot that cost us a half hour of rework. My foreman said "just wet it more and keep moving" but that ruined the finish on that section. Has anyone else dealt with a bad mix that throws off your whole day?

Man I heard a guy say once that bad mix is like bad coffee, it ruins everything after it. Cant argue with that after that warehouse story.

Yeah totally agree with you @ivan230, its like once you hear one bad mix you cant get into anything else the whole night. That warehouse story was rough, I felt bad for the people who paid to be there and just got a muddy mess of sound instead. A good mix makes everything click even if the songs are average, but a bad one just makes you want to leave early. Its something you dont notice until its gone, like a good cup of coffee that you take for granted until you get a burnt one.
