My primary light flooded at 90 feet on a harbor inspection yesterday.

The O-ring on the battery cap looked fine topside but must have pinched. Anyone have a good trick for checking those seals under pressure?

Flooding at 90 feet sounds rough, but is it really a big deal? Lights flood all the time... it's just a wet light. Maybe just check the o-ring groove for any sand or grit next time. A little spit on the seal before you close it up usually does the trick for me.

Wow, I used to think like @hannah_owens71 until a flooded light ruined my whole dive.

Hold on, I see it different. A flooded light at 90 feet isn't just a wet light, it's a safety hazard and wasted time on a work dive.
