Warning: a guy at the shop kept calling the Fantastic Four 'Marvel's first family'
He's right, but I always thought it was the X-Men because they had more books in the 90s. Anyone else mix that up for a long time?

Yeah, the X-Men were everywhere back then, so it's an easy mistake. The FF just had that title first.

Man, I totally get that. Wasn't the 90s just wall-to-wall X-Men? I had the trading cards, watched the cartoon every day, and grabbed any comic with a shiny cover. For the longest time, I figured they were the big deal, the main family, you know? Cole357 is spot on about the FF having the title first, but my kid brain just saw Wolverine and Gambit everywhere and made its own call. Easy to see how we all got mixed up.
