Tried a ceramic pour over cone after years of plastic, got a bitter surprise
I picked up a ceramic V60 last week because everyone raves about the heat retention. First cup was super bitter and over extracted, even with the same grind I always use on plastic. Turns out the ceramic slows down the draw down compared to plastic, so I had to grind way coarser. Now I'm dialing it in but it's taking more coffee than I expected. Has anyone else had to adjust their entire ratio switching materials?
