Am I the only one stuck smiling through terrible coffee to spare a friend's feelings?

I told my neighbor his homemade blend was delicious just to be nice. Now I have to drink it every week and it tastes like burnt socks.

My politeness is a curse, honestly. Ended up with a shelf of weird homemade jams because I smiled too much at a craft fair once. That burnt sock coffee life chose me.
